Par-72 course available for group or individual play
Although a semi-private club, we are open for limited public play and tournaments on a daily basis and have numerous options available for membership that will suit your needs for a country club lifestyle, golf partnerships, or group golf. As you enter Spruce Creek, you will be greeted by security officers at a fully serviced gated entrance and then directed through a parade of beautiful homes to our clubhouse. Upon your arrival, you will find our pro shop staff waiting for your bags in the circular drive. Proceed onto the Bill Amick-designed 18-hole, par-72 course that winds along the Spruce Creek, sharing the blue sky with private jets and prop planes as they take off and land on the neighboring runway.
The course has multiple tees ranging from 5,176 yards (women’s tees: slope 123) to 6,841 yards from the back tees (slope 136). The front side is a more traditional, tree lined, tighter layout which runs alongside the community’s private airstrip on holes eight and nine. (A sign on the ninth tee box encourages you to check for incoming aircraft before teeing off!) The back nine is more open in design but has numerous water hazards. The club has a fully stocked pro shop; rental clubs are available. Practice areas include a full size driving range, putting green and chipping area with a practice bunker.

Meet Our Pros!
PGA Head Golf Professional
Jason Pomroy
I was raised in Daytona Beach, Florida where I played junior golf and graduated from Mainland High School before playing college golf in North Carolina. My wife, Monica, and I have two beautiful daughters, Brynlee and Harper. I am an avid sports fan and pull hard for my beloved Jacksonville Jaguars.
My first job in golf was at River Bend Golf Club in Ormond Beach, 20 years ago.
My career took me out west to Las Vegas where I served as Head Golf Professional and later as General Manager at two different facilities for almost 9 years.
I was elected to PGA Membership in March of 2014, which is one of my proudest achievements. In Las Vegas, I served as a PGA Board Member in the Southwest Section and contributed as a member of the Education and Tournament Committees. I was a member of the PGA Vegas Cup Team as well as The SNGA Presidents Cup team. In 2015, I received the award for The Southern Nevada Golf Association Golf Professional of the Year. My family and I moved back to Florida in 2016 where I spent some time at The Palencia Club in St. Augustine and most recently, was the Head Golf Professional at LPGA International.
I have a strong passion for the growth of the game of golf and I can’t wait to share that with the wonderful membership at Spruce Creek.
